I feel a bit like Ahab in my ever increasing quest to track down this majestic white whale-cat. Last week when I saw him I tried to film the beast but as usual couldn't figure out my stupid phone camera. Anyway it turns out I managed to capture a few furtive frames of the monolithic moggy.. somehow fittingly like a fleeting shot of bigfoot disappearing into the forest or shaky B&W footage of Nessie which later turns out to be a toy submarine.
Sadly here you still cant really measure his impressive girth. I fear they haven't yet invented a medium that can.

The namesake lives on

Frank's namesake, Anne Frank, was also an expert in hiding. Frank is channeling her prowess.

We met Frank briefly last week. Now the crying has died down, and Frank is being controlled by some weird airborne artificial hormones, I've finally had enough sleep (sans cotton wool in my ears) to string some sentences together.

Frank is still an anti-social creature. He hides. Then he runs out, and hides again. He can't seem to string things together in his mind. I think he's stoned.

Actually, this is somewhat unfair as he is gradually coming round (read: resigning) himself to the fact that this is his new home and he will, for the foreseeable, be surrounded by 80's teen movies and ten tonnes of Tampax.

Here is Frank semi-hiding. The massive bits of plasterboard are his palace of choice.

Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn...

Tonight whilst making my short list of votes for Cat Party nominations for October, I briefly met Frank. He is possibly one of the smallest cats i've ever seen. He is like the cat version of me I reckon. He mostly hides behind a pile of mess and a big block of wood by the toilet (great spot Frank) but Jess enticed him out later via some kind of fur ball on the end of a string. I wish I could make shy humans come out of their shell in the same way.

It's been a heated month here at CP. We had our first 'Top Cat' Post of the Month competition, and we are now pleased to announce the winner!!

Not only does Pegs receive a personalised 'Top Cat' Cat Party mug she will now be given the pleasure of curating the competition for this month. We have asked her to choose her top 10 posts from October and we should see these go up within the next week or so.
