Cat Fight!!

We have recently moved house. We seem to have moved to Cat City, which is great for me, but less good for Svetlana, who is having to fight hard for her territory. The beauty/psycho above is Vixen. She is mega vicious, and enjoys launching herself through our front window, teeth and claws first.



Svet stands her ground as best she can. Once she has seen off Vixen (ie I have closed the window), what do we hear? Vixen's two offspring have entered the house via the back door.....



I will admit this one is quite handsome, and he has his mothers eyes....

This is Svetlanas first foray onto the big bad streets of London. Took us three 20 minute (freezing) sessions and a lot of enticing with fishy treats to get her this far.

I tried to convince Svetlana for weeks that these lovely sheepskin rugs were mine, not hers. Guess who won that argument?

Cat ATTACK

Here is Svetlana demonstrating one of her favourite activities: the Sideways Crawl. Initiated witha good tummy rub, excess soon kicks in, and she pulls herself sideways along the carpet, using her enormous claws, with a psychotic look of pleasure on her face. It really resembles swimming.

Cat lovers....may I introduce Dalston's latest feline superstar..... Svetlana...

She's starting to overcome her rather beguiling shyness and leave her basket behind the sofa. Occasionally that lovely little stripey head will pop out, those huge yellow eyes will fix you in her mesmerising stare, and she will mount a skilful and deadly attack on your laptop case/camera bag/feet.

Already displaying an awareness of sitting in just the right light, and surrounded by the right props, I'm sure we'll see more of cat they're all calling 'the Montague Road supermodel'...
