Falling on deaf (furry) ears

Socks is 16 now, and she's at that old age when her body is starting to pack up a bit.

She got hit hard (we think by a car) a while back because her right eye got messed up and has glassed over, so she can't see through that one. More recently she lost her hearing, meaning she doesn't notice when cars go past the house. It's not a busy road in the slightest, but a sign was made to warn any passers by.

Good to see that cats are getting a look in on these signs, rather than the standard warnings of that 'other animal' (that we don't talk about on here).
